23rd March Pakistan Day..

23 March, which is known as Pakistan Day, is day observed for the resolution of the All India Muslim League in Lahore in 1940. This was when a demand for a separate independent state for the Muslims of South Asia was made. Always on this day(23rd March) the armed forces presents a parade which can be viewed by the public on their TV channels and also they can go their and watch the parade live. The day always began with the 21 gun salute. The salami is a way of paying tribute to all those people who worked and died for this country.
This is especially an important day for in the colleges, schools and universities.. There are exhibition featuring posters on Pakistan, cultural artifacts such as Pakistani clothing, artwork, photos of the country as well as Pakistani food .
